Talon: Alright, kids, it’s time to milk them cows!

Cows: Mooo??!!

Dinker: Um, I don’t think that will be necessary , Talon, ever. So, today, we’ve got some fabulous updates. What’s in the lineup, Linker?

Linker: *scratches butt* We have updates?

Dinker: Oh… *looks at trees*… So, what do you all think of the Spirit Tracks coming up?Or maybe you guys want to talk about the previous Zelda games?

Link: Aww man, why can’t there be a game where I’m bringing sexy back?

Zelda: I don’t think anyone would, ever, buy that game. Besides sexy never left.

Justin Timberlake: What? I thought we had something special, Zel? Come on, baby, this just can’t be summer love…

Talon: *singing alone* … make you want to say my name…

Ricky Fugitive: Zelda: Gah! I really thought we had something to update about.

Linker: Ooooh! I got something! I had the most amazing piece of gum today!

Zelda: *rolls her eyes* I meant something Zelda related. Hello?

Link: You know, Zelda, not everything revolves around you! Gosh!

Zelda: Okay, that’s it! *grabs a pillow and attempts to smother Link with it*

Link: Nooo! My gorgeous face! Don’t hurt it! I don’t want to look like Spirt Tracks Link!

Dinker: Oh, yeah, by the way, that game does not look appealing. I keep thinking back about the previous Zelda games, how much fun I had in them. Today, I was thinking about Wind Faker this afternoon. I remember how much I enjoyed the music. I remember how poetic Ganondorf spoke that I wrote some of his quotes in a notebook. I remember how much I enjoyed the sword-fighting gameplay; I liked how you could jump towards the back and stab the enemy. It was great.

Linker: Stabbing enemies is always exciting. It’s like baking a cake! But seriously, I must agree with Dinker on this one. Although there’s not too much information available about this new game, I have seen screencraps–er, screencaps, and I’m not impressed. I want more of an OOT feel or even a game that reflected the Zelda games of back in the day on the gameboy. Remember A Link to the Past? Why must we always try to recreate something that doesn’t need anything added to it. Zelda is an amazing franchise that definitely has had me hooked, and still hooked, on the original story and gameplay.

Link: Wow, that was deep man…

Talon: Amen!

Cows: MMMOOO!

Dinker: Exactly! I fear that the series is already dying.

Linker: I know, instead of improving they’re driving us diehard fans away. I’m starting to face this harsh reality, but I will always stay true and loyal to Ocarina of Time.

Dinker: I, too! I really love the Market Town’s hot beat and I am enamored by the ‘Minuet of the Forest.’Got a favorite moment?
Linker: Yeah! That’s definitely sexy time! Favorite moment? I liked when Darunia got his groove on when he heard Link play the ocarina! Oooh, and Zora’s Temple was awesome, too. Where we got to skate on the ice? That was fun.
And jump off the cliff into the water! I did that a couple of times!! You?

Dinker: That was some hot cliff diving!

Talon: I liked the part when Link came to my house at night to collect all my cuccos.

Dinker: Um, yeah. I was kind of touched when Link and Saria met in the Chamber of Sages one last time. Link was grown up and Saria remained the same. And, the only way to maintain their friendship was through her song.  I found it hapless, but it was for their best interests. Saria needed to safeguard the Forest Temple.

Linker: Yea, that was sweet! OOT had so many life lessons!

Dinker: Yup! And there will be more reminiscing about Ocarina of Time. So, guys, have a fun Halloween, or stay cool. We’ll see you in our next broadcast. Night!

Linker: Peace out! You’ll never guess my costume, it’s a secret! ;)

He’s Back

Everybody, Robbie’s back with an awesome new layout and mystery articles! Go visit his site: Hyrule’s Unexplained.

Hey, peeps!  Guess who made another awesome rant ? Informer! Go read about what he thinks about Twilight Princess and his most memorable Zelda games!

In our news, we might revert back to a website. Not soon, but we’ll be in the process of constructing it; I somewhat missed php and all that fun junk, trying to make it work even though it was time consuming.

I also I bought the Ocarina of Time Master Quest? And. hehe. I got stuck in the Great Deku Tree; I think it’s a glitch. But, anyway,  I got excited when I listened to the familiar tunes of oh so long ago.

Splendid news! We are now affiliated with the Gerudo Language.

I’ve talked with the creator Zelda, whom is a very friendly and helpful person.^^ She’s the one behind the development of the Gerudo syntax, alphabet, numbers, and even a philosophy on its religion.

This is all for fun and a way to appreciate another people’s world. All in all, the Gerudo Language is impressive and  definitely worth a visit!

Also, in other news, if you’re an avid Wii gamer,  Ezlo21 of Zelda101, our long-time affiliate, is listing recommended Virtual Console (VC) Games. Grab some popcorn and take a look!

We’re back!

Hey, guys! We’re back, finally, and most likely for good! So pass the Whiskey around.^-

We moved to wordpress because while it was exciting owning our own website, it was much of a hassle, constantly updating and organizing it. Plus we believe it will be more reliable. Thus we moved here and we will be updating whenever we can.

(And about the shoutbox: I had to make a new one because I forgot the old code. I’m sorry also that you have to click on a link.;()

And in other exciting news is that we are celebrating, us, Dinker ‘n Linker’s fifth birthday! YEAH! We opened in the summer of August 6, 2004, and we were soon-to-be high school seniors. This site was random at the time, but fueled by our fandom for the legend. In the process, we met other crazy, amazing fans alike.

I’m so happy that (uber cool) Linker joined me in building the site, our Zelda Sanctuary, as you could say. We’ve been fans every since Ocarina of Time came out. (Well, for me, a few years later thanks to Super Smash Brothers and my brother and his friends.)

In the future, you can more subtitles, ravez, randomness, fan fics, doodles, and much more!

And thank you guys so much for staying with DNL! You know who you are: Informer, Robbie, Johnny, Rekind, Rekinl, Athrolink, our affiliates (who didn’t erase us yet. j/k.), and all of you!^^

Peace and Love~!

The Ocarina of Rhyme

My brother told me that on his facebook he linked to a site that fused artists rapping to Zelda music. Rappers such as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dog, and Clipse are included. Quite an interesting combo. Check it out here.

Of Wedgies and Farts

I was browsing through my photobucket and happened upon these old subtitles I wrote. Some of them are funny; it’s filled with childish-crude humor. Yes, I was laughing out loud. Oh, the memories.

Written by Linker

Everyone judges. You can say, “oh, I don’t judge,” but in reality it’s an unconscious bias. When I first saw the trailer for Twilight Princess, I laughed. I mean, here was Nintendo trying to emerge out of the shadow of Zelda: Ocarina of Time–a mega hit. What made me frown upon the game, however, was this ridiculous idea of Link’s transformation into a wolf. Seriously, if I could change into something, it wouldn’t be a wolf. It would be a dirty nacho…..yeah with that sexy sour cream and erotic salsa…….mmm……rub that cheese all over my–

Darunia: Aye! You can’t tell the people how to make my nachos! Besides, you don’t rub the cheese. You smooth it over and whisper sweet nothings like, “be dirty for me, daddy…”

Link: *drops nacho* Seriously?! By the way, Linker, don’t be hating on Twilight Princess. You get awesome views of my buttocks. Remember the time I was climbing that vine and you zoomed in?

*coughs* I couldn’t see the screen is all, anyway, this is supposed to be a serious rant. I want to give my audience an honest opinion of the game without swaying their views and beliefs by which–

Link: You were sooo checking out my butt…

Alright, fine, I was comparing the firmness to OOT, alright? Now, as I was saying I–

Link: –like big butts and you cannot–

*coughs* Anyway, when I got Twilight Princess, I got it for the Lamecube. I’m sure it wasn’t selling well for the Lamecube because the game was half price compared to the Wii’s version for $50 even. I brought the game home and popped it in, no expectations whatsoever.

A very similar screen OOT screen came up with the “press start” sign came up. I smiled, for anything that reminded me of OOT always brought a warm feeling deep within the inner caverns of my heart valves.

Link: Inner caverns of my heart valves? Weirdo…

*Ahem* The game started. I was impressed by the graphics, and to have Link a mute again was very smart of Nintendo. Then again, they could have attracted more female players with a deep European accent…..

Link: Can you imagine the fan mail? I might even have girls throwing their panties at me like if I was some kind of rock star…..sweet….

Darunia: I wish I wore panties, or underwear for that matter….

Link: *still in daze* What if I had a Hungarian accent? I would throw panties at myself…

*everyone stares*

Can we stop with the panties? Please? This is a serious topic. I mean, I was really trying to aim for one of those convincing, forceful Informer rants, but you guys are seriously making it hard to give a decent review of the Twilight Princess. I really want people to know that it’s not really a bad game. It’s actually a good game.

Link: Sorry for distracting you. I sometimes forget how sexy I really am….

Darunia: Yeah. I’m sorry, too. My nachos can be pretty dirty….

Thank you. Now,

If you’re a veteran to the Legend, you might not find the game appealing due to the “new style.” The monsters are new. Some characters are new. In reality, it’s a different take on the Legend. It’s like an….advanced version, though unfortunately weaker than its predecessors. When I say “advanced,” I don’t mean technologically. Without revealing too much, I just want to say that I’m not too thrilled with a flying space ship forming every time I beat an enemy. I’m also not excited about Link turning into a wolf, as said before, but whatever floats your chicken.

To a newbie, however, the game is something new. I actually interviewed someone that’s new to the Legend. They said the game is “really different from other games out there.” This is true. It’s really a game that needs the mind, spirit, and body. You can really get a lot out of it.

Darunia: Just like chicken. You can bake, fry, steam, broil, grill, stir fry….

For once, I can actually say that I agree with you. It is like chicken. It will cater to however you like your chicken. You really have to taste it and decide….

Link: More fun with a Wii Wii!

Actually, I enjoyed playing it for the Lamecube. I did play it for the Wii at Dinker’s house and it’s pretty much the same experience….

Link: Na-uh! Kids, try it for the Wii!

So, Link needs a Wii Wii?

Link: Yes, Link needs a W–hey!
